In “Savage,” we get a raw look at Jersey Coleman’s journey from hitting rock bottom. Growing up in a brothel and struggling with her addiction, to finally getting her life together. Just when she’s finding her footing, she crosses paths with Malcolm Sullivan, a guy who is completely cold-blooded and runs the streets.
The best part of this story is the contrast between their worlds. You have a woman fighting for her peace, and a man who thrives in chaos. This story is a heavy and gritty read, but seeing someone as cutthroat as Malcolm actually drop his guard completely and fall for someone with Jersey’s history makes the romance feel way more intense.
